近段时间，我要开发一个内容管理站点(http://www.shatangoj.cn/)来推销家乡的特产。

选型

初期的站点原型程序选型，出于对LAMP架构的钟情，我选出了joomla和drupal这两个基于LAMP架构的开源CMS作为可选的原型来开发我的站点。

可能有人聽過AOL，也許有人沒聽過。不過今天Jimmy分享一個Case，就是AOL TW/HK使用Drupal的實際狀況。

AOL美國線上算是在網路業中幾個大Portal之一，在Google/Yahoo之下的順位可能就是MSN or AOL。但AOL在華文市場卻一點也沒消息，在全球市場也薄弱，不過從今年3月底AOL則悄悄在台灣和香港開站。

It is not always easy to scale Drupal -- not because Drupal sucks, but simply because scaling the LAMP stack (including Drupal) takes no small amount of skill.

After a great deal of searching, both at drupal.org and on the web in general, and a great deal of trial and error, it can be reported that installing Drupal on Fedora need not be the source of frustration. The main reason this is challenging has to do with the different way in which Fedora installs Drupal and Postgresql, so the standard ways that you will find in the generic README files and even on the official websites won't work. Artificially trying to make your installs like you see on the sites is fraught with problems.
